Universities, R&D Groups and Academic Networks

ICSOFT is a unique forum for universities, research groups and research projects to present their research and scientific results, be it by presenting a paper, hosting a tutorial or instructional course or demonstrating its research products in demo sessions, by contributing towards panels and discussions in the event's field of interest or by presenting their project, be it by setting up an exhibition booth, by being profiled in the event's web presence or printed materials or by suggesting keynote speakers or specific thematic sessions.

Special conditions are also available for Research Projects which wish to hold meetings at INSTICC events.

ESEO

ESEO is a comprehensive electronics and computer engineering school founded in 1956 in Angers, France. Since 1962, it has continuously been accredited by the “Commission des Titres d’Ingénieurs” - CTI (French national commission on engineering degrees) and as such was awarded the EUR-ACE (EURopean Accredited Engineer) label. ESEO is a member of the “Conférence des Grandes Écoles - CGE”; a French national institution that counts all the engineering institutions accredited by the CTI as its members.

Higher Technical School of Computer Engineering of the University of Seville

The Higher Technical School of Computer Engineering (ETSII) of the University of Seville offers a comprehensive educational path in computer engineering, comprising five Bachelor's degrees, four Master's degrees, and a PhD program. It hosts approximately 3,000 students and is supported by 300 teaching and research staff across five departments. The Bachelor's programs have varying entry requirements based on the PEVAU scores, with programs in (1) Software Engineering, (2) Computer Technologies, (3) Computer Engineering, (4) Health Engineering, and a (5) Double Degree in Computers and Mathematics. The Master's programs include degrees in Computer Science, Logic, Computing and Artificial Intelligence, Biomedical Engineering and Digital Health, and Software Engineering. The PhD program, which has been full in recent years, admits around 30 students annually, mainly from Sevilla and South America, and boasts an average of 10 thesis presentations per year. This program involves 70 teachers in PhD directions, focusing on four research lines: (1) Software Engineering and Technology, (2) Logic, Computation and Intelligence, (3) Industrial Informatics and Electronic Technology, and (4) Computer Technology: medical and industrial applications.
